I have one word to describe Joey and Laura, Fun!! I had such a great time hanging out with these two. They are an absolute pleasure to be around and photograph. I see myself keeping in touch with these two for many years. Thanks guys for a great day.
Any time I can shoot in Santa Barbara, I take advantage of it. Beautiful city and great beaches. We had great weather for a beach wedding along with great lighting. Shaun and Amber were such a pleasure to work with and it is so nice to see such a happy couple.

The third and final shoot from last weekend. We went to Kingmen park on the CLU campus for these pictures. Had some great late afternoon light in the park. Such a happy baby. Only saw her get upset once and that only lasted for 30 seconds. Had a great time and got some great shots.
Shoot two of three this last weekend. Spent a Saturday afternoon walking around Santa Barbara with Joey and Laura. The whole day just felt like we were on a double date with them and I just happen to have my camera. Looking forward to their wedding in three weeks.
This was my first of three shoots last weekend. This is the Tonderum family. Newborn Nathan, no really, big boy already. Kyle says he is going to be a quaterback. And then there is Maddie. You can tell she doesn't like the camera...too cute.
We spent a sunny, warm Sunday at the Getty Center in LA shooting Sally and Kyle's engagement session. It was an awesome day and I had a blast with these two. They have a very natural demeanor with each other and the photos show it. Looking forward to their wedding in June!!!! They are getting married at the beautiful Maravilla Gardens in Camarillo.
Rollie and Jenn's wedding took place at the Redondo Beach Historical Library. Really cool building with lots of great architecture. We got some really cool shots out front next to a huge fig tree.
We went to Pasadena to shoot Tracy and Michelle's engagement pictures. Luckily we missed the rain and ended up with nice weather. Tracy and Michelle were so natural
and comfortable. I was lucky enough to be able to shoot their engagement since I wasn't going
to be able to shoot the wedding. I am in the wedding.

We went to one of my favorite engagement shoot spots with Linda and Ryan. Leo Carrillo State Beach. Always a safe choice when it comes to beaches. The weather was a little overcast, which made for soft lighting.
Really nice couple. I am looking forward to their wedding in June.
Well what looked like a day that was going to be canceled due to rain, turned out to be a great day of pictures. We had originally planned on going to a park close to their wedding site, but
when rain clouds moved in and dumped for a few hours, we figured the park would have been too muddy.
We went with plan B and went to the beach. Weather cleared up nicely and we got some amazing pics.
Well, here is my first wedding of 2009. Really great down-to-earth couple. Had a lot of fun with them. They were married at Moorpark Presbyterian Church and then had their reception at St. Maximilian Kolbe
Catholic Church in Westlake.

I went to Kansas City, Mo for three days to shoot Steve and Misty's rehearsal/dinner, wedding, and portrait session. Had a great time with a great couple in a fun, classic city. First time to Kansas City and quite impressed how nice
and updated the city is. Their wedding was at the Hilton President, a newly renovated, brick building.
