Rarely will I hear a client suggest photographing an engagement session in back alley's with lots of graffiti, but in this case they did. All of this artwork fit right into Mandy and Adam's lifestyle. We found some crazy backgrounds wandering the streets of Melrose. Thanks for a fresh idea!!

What do you get when you combine two Irish families at a beautiful location? No this is not a set up for a joke. You get an awesome wedding! Spent a great day with Triona and Ryan at Hartley's Botanical Garden. Really liked the treat of some traditional Irish dancing at the reception.
Jessica and John Oakes September 6, 2009 - Stephen S. Wise Temple
Jessica and John were a great couple. Both very easy going and just fun people to be involved with. Jessica surprised John with a vintage Corvette that we were able to get some fun pictures with.
Erica and Milton Little August 29, 2009 - Ocutt Ranch
Erica and Milton were married on a record 110 degree day in the San Fernando Valley. It doesn't get much hotter than this. All parties were in great spirits which lead to a great party!!! Beautiful outdoor location with lots of greenery. Great day!!

Lindsay and Chris were married at the Ranch House at Calamigos Ranch. I love shooting at Calamigos because there is so much space to roam around and get some amazing shots. Lindsay and Chris were very open to going anywhere and doing anything. Feel we got some amazing shots with this couple.
Harmony and Tony Russo August 22, 2009 - Bella Victorian Vineyards
This was my first of three wedding at Bella Victorian Vineyards this year. What a beautiful location. Coupled with a gorgeous, fun couple, it doesn't get much better than this. The wedding was coordinated by Michelle Spring. It was great to finally work with you. Look forward to many more.
Sara and Zack Mathers August 8, 2009- San Marcos
I have known Zack for years and in fact, he was the videographer at my wedding. I was glad I was able to return the favor by photographing his and Sara's wedding. It should almost be illegal to have this much fun at a wedding working, but boy does it make the day fly by. Thanks for an awesome day. I also got a chance to work with Katie Tiffany for the first time. It was a pleasure.
Jade and Cameron Engagement Session
I have been dying to shoot on the UCLA campus for a long time. Jade and Cameron were the perfect couple to have my first shoot there with. Very easy going and the camera absolutely loves them. Can't wait for their wedding in July!!!

Jenn has been a friend of my wife's for year so it was an honor for me to be asked to photography her and Gary's wedding. What a great day with friends at a great location. Always makes a great combo.
Ashley and Tyler Moran July 25, 2009- Lost Canyons Golf Course
Ashley and Tyler were such an easy going couple. They felt very comfortable in front of the camera and their pictures showed it. I love shooting at Lost Canyons golf course. There are a lot of great opportunities to get creative shots out on the golf course.
Sonia and Gerry Corona July 18, 2009- Firestone Crossroads
I spent a fun day with Sonia and Gerry in Los Olivos wine country. We started at the Fess Parker Inn for the getting ready shots, then headed to a historic Mission style church in Solvang, then finished the day at the beautiful Firestone Crossroads vineyard. Oh and I forgot to mention, a quick stop on the way to the reception at Mavericks, a local bar, for a quick group shot of tequila. Thanks guys.
Julie and Ryan Forbes July 17, 2009- Spanish Hills CC
Julie and Ryan were married at Padre Serra Church in Camarillo followed by a reception at Spanish Hills Country Club. Julie looked great in her dress and Ryan was just a downright stud. Thanks for a great day guys!!
Kyle and Sally Lorentson- June 21, 2009 Maravilla Gardens- Camarillo, Ca
This may seem like a Ground Hog's Day kind of situation, but it is not. I did have two weddings at Maravilla, on the same weekend. Both weddings were different and a lot of fun. It was nice to have the opportunity to shoot at the same place twice in one weekend. It really tested me artistically to find new places to shoot or try different things in the places I had shot the day before. Overall, great weekend.
Ryan and Linda Reidy- Encino, Ca
Ryan and Linda were married at the Monterey at Encino Restaurant. We were able to get some great shots around the golf course thanks to some pretty lighting and just a fun, loving couple willing to do anything.
Morrow Family- Pasadena, Ca
Pasadena is always a great place to shoot and when you add in a great family and adorable little girl, it makes it just that much better. It also helps that they are family. Ryan, Trini, and Madison spent the day with my wife Cody and I in Old Town Pasadena. There are so many great spots to stop and shoot pictures. We even rewarded Madison with some ice cream for a job well done. Probably some of the best of the day...enjoy!
Gerry and Sonia- Engagement Session- Santa Barbara, Ca
I love shooting in Santa Barbara. There are a few of my favorite spots, but also so many new and unique locations. I typically just walk the streets with the couples and find great architecture and lighting. Gerry and Sonia were so relaxed and natural in front of the camera. Thanks for a fun day.
Shawn and Shauna- Engagement Session- Santa Barbara, Ca
We met Shawn and Shauna at the Santa Barbara Expo and have hit it off ever since. Spent a great day wandering downtown Santa Barbara and ended the evening with nice dinner and some wine with our new friends. Thanks guys. Look forward to the wedding!!
Marcello and Katie- Engagement Session- Burbank, Ca
Katie was the lucky winner of my free engagement session drawing at the Great Bridal Expo. She thought she only walked out of there with some free magazines. We met at one of their favorite local parks to get some fun shots. We even found a section of concrete that made for some fun urban shots.
Jeff and Jen Macvittie- June 20, 2009 Maravilla Gardens- Camarillo, Ca
This was my first wedding at Maravilla since I was married there in 2006. I was so excited to see and photograph this venue. They have done such an incredible job with the location. If any of you are looking for a great outdoor garden setting, check out this location. Coupled with an amazing couple, this made for a great day.
Will and Tamra Hartmann- May 30, 2009- Koehler Winery- Los Olivos
Shooting at a winery...awesome. Shooting on a bright, sunny day....awesome. Shooting with a great couple who photograph well.....awesome. Overall an awesome day. I first had the opportunity to work with Will and Tamra for an Engagement shoot in San Francisco. I knew then that we would work well together. When someone is comfortable just hanging out with you, they look and act natural in front of the camera.
Thanks guys, look forward to seeing you next time we go to San Francisco.
